  1. first you have to remove the gray rubber tube inserted around the frame holding the old screen in.   taking the new piece of screening cut to size and lying it over the screen frame you insert the rubber tubing  over the screen back into the groove around the frame good luck

  2. When you buy the roll of screening the directions are on the packaging.

  3. When i replace the screen, i often replace the rubber piece on the inside. It's normally worth the extra two dollars! You can also buy a tool that helps you put the rubber piece back in easier.

I don't like to pre-cut my screen. I prefer to lay it in the frame and then i hold it taught with one hand and put the rubber piece back into place which holds the screen into the frame. I do that on all sides to make sure it's tight in there, lose screens are a pain.

Then i trim, making sure to leave at least a quarter inch on each side, that way if it ever came apart, you could fix it. If you trim it too shortly, you will have almost no way of getting it back in if it ever got pushed in.

It's not hard at all, The first attempt will go wrong, i guarantee it. The second will go easier and then you'll be a pro at it by the time the first window is done. Very easy and no problems.

    Good luck!
