With Choose to refuse you can capture their number. However when I tried to report a number to BT they said they had no power to do anything.

  1. i rememeber hearing somewhere that answer it say please dont ring me again if you ring 2 times its harrassement and i will start a legal process. Its worked fr me too

  2. was it a charity phonecall?

  3. If you are signed up to the Telephone Preference Service and get a call from a firm trying to sell you something, make sure you get the Company's name, telephone number and the name of the person making the call, and what they are calling about

Then you can complain to the TPS at www.tpsonline.org.uk

  4. i would like to know the answer myself as im on t p s as well. however be aware that the tps is only for uk based companies so if its an overseas company obviously it isnt covered. just had a thought have you look on tps website.

also often when ive asked to speak to the supervisor they soon put the phone down.

  5. You make sure to get the name of the calling company.  Then you look up their address and phone number on the Internet and register a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service at this link:

    http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/

They contact the caller and you eventually receive a letter of apology and an undertaking to stop calling you.

  6. Maybe this page will help

    http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/Consu...

But i have found a good answer to nuisance calls, go to a sports shop and buy a referees whistle and keep it by the phone, when you get a nuisance phone call blow it hard down the phone, they won't call again.
