Question:

How do you report those who support animal abuse, for instance that new video featured in yahoo?

I despise animal abuse and child cruelty! I can't think of something I hate more! And yahoo, on the videos that get featured when you log onto the home page, has a video from 'stupid videos' which shows a thirsty cat going to extremes to have a sip of water. You can see the feline forcing his head into the cup, trying to fish water out with his paw etc. Who do you report it to?

P.S-If you disagree, don't bother to answer unless you don't mind the thumbs down.

  1. I've seen this video.  How is ANYTHING about that video cruel.  That cat is well fed and in good health.  The video shows a cat's intelligence and ingenuity.  It does NOT show a cat in distress, pain or suffering.  That cat is NOT starving and from the condition of his coat, he is not dehydrated.  The ASPCA would laugh you off the phone for calling that cruelty.  Thousands of animals die every day due to neglect and human stupidity.  Go help one of them instead.

Poo to your thumbs down.  Poo to your ideas that that video is anything but a honor to a cat's intelligence.  Poo I say...POO!

  2. First of all, to tell people who disagree with you not to answer is a pretty good indication that you know you're wrong.

That cat looked quite healthy, so I doubt that someone was mistreating it. My dog tries to drink water from my cup if I put it down on the floor, but her bowl is always full. Just because the cat was doing that doesn't mean it had an extreme thirst. You have no proof, and no agency will take you seriously. Except maybe PETA, because they're lunatics.

  3. You can report the question as abusive as well as the answers as violating community guidelines.  We Yahooligans do not approve of child abuse, animal abuse and I will be glad to second your report if I see it.

  4. Call the nearest ASPCA. People that have their animals go through that don't deserve them AT ALL.

  5. I completely, and totally agree with you. Well, you could call your local ASPCA, but they won't really be able to help you unless you know who the person is, or where that person lives. So search up on Google the closest ASPCA to you, and call them....

good luck, and hope that cat will get a new (caring) owner...

  6. That doesn't really sound like cruelty.

My cat drinks out of the fountain outside, when we supply fresh water inside; that's his choice. If it rains, he also drinks from fairly dirty puddles. Cats do that. They get curious. You don't know if this cat has a water bowl on the floor and got over curious about the glass, like cats tend to do with new things.

Unless the person videoing is forcing the head underwater or the cat is visibley injured/unwell/underweight, that doesn't sound cruel. I've seen videos of cats drinking out of running taps and they do the 'pawing' action, and I've seen videos of cats falling off of fences- it happens, it's not cruelty, and it's not abuse. I've seen this on TV on 'Funniest Videos' and 'Animals Do The Funniest Things', and I don't think they wouldn't exactly be allowed on TV for entertainment purposes if it was cruel- can you imagine the calls to the RSPCA etc.?

It's okay if you don't find it funny, but that's a bit over the top to assume that it is cruelty when it sounds like a funny home video of something a curious cat would do at least once of its own accord.

  7. recording an animal doing something out of the ordinary isn't cruelty if they shoved the cats head in the cup then I'd agree with you. you can disagree if you like but the kitten was smart to get the water anyway it could they call this survival.  if would be better to ask them to remove it because of how you feel. threatening people on yahoo to agree with you  no thats abusive
