How do you reset the oil light for a 2008 volkswagon rabbit?

On the ones that I have done for my customers because it is not in the owner’s manual, do the following...

Press the trip reset button and hold it in and turn the key on "BUT" do not start the vehicle and at the same time locate the minute and hour buttons and press the minute button as well.

So press the trip reset and hold, turn the key on and don’t start it and press the minute button for 10 seconds and this should reset the oil light.
