  1. Hi:

there are two ways in Microsoft's paint :

    1)  go to the toolbar and find "Image" click it find resize/skew click that a icon will appear and it says Horizontal and Vertical

input a percent number to what size you want for example:

    75 for 3/4 size, 50 for half size,25 for 1/4 size

to enlarge type 200 for double size, type, 400 for four time it normal size ,type 300 for three time it size

If you need to know what percentage to make a picture from the known print size to resize it too. Let say your normal printout picture is 3 X 4  and you want to make the picture 4.5 x 6,  what is the percentage number we to do this?

okay for the vertical do the following :

    4.5/3 * 100 =  1.5 * 100 = 150

    for horizontal do the following:

    6 / 4 * 100 = 1.5 * 100 = 150

so we put 150 in both the Vertical and the horizontal box and click ok  and that should do it

Now we have a 8X10 printout picture and you want to a 4 X 5 picture what is the percentage that will do this?

    4/8 *100 = .5 *100 = 50 for the horizonal box

    and

    5/10 * 100= .5 *100= 50  for the vertical box

and that will print that picture in 4 X 5 inch

The other is to select the broken lined box better known as the select box, move the cursor to the top left hand corner and left click it and do not let up on it. Move the cursor to the top right hand corner of the picture, and than go down to the bottom of the picture and release the left clicker on the mouse than you should see a broken lined box with four corner dots. and four dots in the middle of the broken lines from the corners  now select one of the corners  dots and going diagonally  toward the other  corner dot you should see your picture change size to match the move you made.

and  if you make a mistake  goto the edit bar and click undo

and that all there is to it.

    I hope this helps.

  2. go to paint, paste the picture there. go to where it says image in the top tool bar, go down to stretch/skew... then under where it says stretch type in a number for horizontal and vertical.

i find that if you put 50 in both of those, then the picture comes out perfectly.

also, if its not the right size the first time you do it, you can do it again.

  3. If you have Microsoft Office Picture ....you can open the picture using this program ...then got to Edit picture Tab on top ....from there on your right select Resize.....go to the bar under Predefine with X height....there you will see many sizes available then click OK and save when you have the size you want ...

    Good Luck
