  1. I would take it to an expert. I've tried to adjust spokes on an ordinary bicycle wheel and it isn't easy, on a motorbike there's too much at stake if you don't get it absolutely 100% right.

  2. I take it your bike wheel is an old classic RACE bike for you to post this in this section?

  3. Thanks for the compliment Swthollitoes.

So I don't have to re-type my answer, type in the search engine above (Search for questions:) - Yes i mean lace a wheel?

  4. why not post this in the correct forum guardrailjim over in cars/transprtation...motorcycles is excellent in these type questions......

  5. It is a pain in the ***.   You need to point of reference(next to a spinning rim) to  make sure the wheel stays straight as you spin it often and tighten each spoke slowly.  Keeping the rim "true" straight is key. Its hard to explain but its easy if you have to replace a handful of spokes.  Other wise take it to a dealer or just buy a new wheel.....its not easy and takes time and patients.

  6. When did "Race" bikes start using spoke wheels, again?...... Your question is in the wrong forum, This is "Motorcycle Racing", You would get a better response in "Cars & Transportation"> "Motorcycles"

    Good Luck
