  1. All u can do with this is,  u have to use plenty of paint remover and a breathing mask.  after u scrap off the old paint...u must clean up the old lead paint and  dispose properly.  Than u have to prime it and paint it the color u want with oil base or exterior acrylic paint.  U can re-finish the ceramic tub with ceramic paint and make the inside looking new.  

      I passed by a plumbing shop looking at this refurbished tub and he wanted $2500 in Pasadena, CA.  Not including labor for installation.  Good Luck with ur restoration project.


  2. If only the outside is painted, just use a primer made for metal and paint right over the lead paint.

  4. i would take it and have it sandblasted...they will have the equipment to deal with the dust ...
