How do you restore a toshiba qosmio ( i have 2 disks)?

You might not need a CD to restore ,,,,Restore point is the date at any time you restore its that point...to restore from your own computer CLICK ON START>>Programs>>>Accessories>>System tools>>Restore >>you will see the calendar it shows you the dates you have option to restore back to such a date>>>

IF Your system you are not sure has been restored or not, just right click on My Computer >>Properties>>click on Restore tab>>check mark the Restore Box..

Set your computer to boot from CD Hopefully it should already be set

Insert CD1 windows setup and boot from it when it gets to what do you want to do gives choices choose R for repair and follow instructions from there it will repair you windows installation without losing any programs or files

Your second CD is probably the driver CD when windows has installed check if all drivers

EG Sound and video are working if not insert 2nd CD and install drivers
