  1. The beauty of English is that you cant really revise...you are either good at it or not.

i suggest that you read the books that you have been asigned every night to get to know them thorughly.

poems is DEAD EASY!!!! just give any opinion about the poem and it will get you loads of marks because you can not be wrong.

    for comprehension...nothing you can do.

Good Luck. I think that English tests are the least of your worries...i feel grateful that i took english because its one subject that i did not revise for.

Tests are so easy these days its almost impossible to fail unless you dont turn up.

    You'll be fine ! =)

    GOOD LUCK! =)

  2. Solve some papers from http://www.theexampapers.com

You will get plenty of them FREE of cost and then you can practice from there.Best of Luck.

  3. have a dictionary, if allowed,

  4. If you have to take a test on a book, it's helpful to read the sparknotes version before the test.  Make sure you actually read the book, but www.sparknotes.com has analysis that you may not have seen yourself.

Also, it helps if while you're reading you mark important lines with post-its.  Then, when you need to write an essay, you can review the important quotes.

But for English, it's really difficult to study.  The best thing you can do is read as much as you can and revise your old essays to see what you did wrong and where you can improve.
