Somebody advised me that if you do this you can then send the MP3 to your mobile phone to make a new ring tone. But how do you 'rip' an MP3??

  1. Just Google "Express Rip"

  2. insert the disc and options should come

click on rip with windows media player or real player

  3. Place the cd into the tray, use this ripper

  4. If you're using Windows Media Player, click the Rip tab at the top of the screen. Then go to Options, and look under Rip Settings, where there's a drop-down menu labelled Format, then select MP3, Click Apply>OK and you're done.

When you load CDs they will then be ripped to your specified folder as MP3s.

There's also many other programs for converting audio formats, WinAmp and Nero are 2 programs able to do this. But these may require extra plugins so why not do it for free with Windows Media Player ? ;)
