How do you run a good curve in the 200m?

I feel like that is slowing me down i an in the 8th grade boy and my best time was 28.34

  1. if you are on an outdoor track, the curve won't be TOO much of a problem..just make sure you run as close to the inside as possible..don't worry about leaning or anything just run and focus on good form


  2. Take the turn as tightly as possible, while leaning into it, this will optimize your distance, making it seem shorter, and you can make your time a bit better, and that isn't too bad by the way..., probably about average

  3. curves are harder to run and you probably will go just a tiny bit slower.  One thing to make sure is that you are leaning forward too much or leaning back to much.  This isn't probably good running form, but i'm not a sprinter so when i sprint curves leaning just a tiny bit forward helps me a lot.

  4. dont lean forward, you can lean slightly into the turn, especially if its indoors You want to stand up straight to maximize stride. short steps would be good too: faster turnover
