How do you sand cast aluminum?

How do you sand cast aluminum. Please give me links to good FREE!!!! sites.

I had a friend who did it, but it was really toxic and really bad.  But his work turned out great.  He used a kiln outside to heat up the aluminum and then carved stryofoam (the artwork) and dug it into the sand and used sprues stinking out to pour it into.  I can't remember what he used to store the aluminum in the kiln.  I wouldn't reccomend this technique.  google sand casting aluminum tutorial,or see if there is a video on utube
