How do you save a picture of the computer screen?

  1. you have to press alt when you press print screen also

    they're both on the keyboard


  2. Press "PrintScreen" anytime, then open Paint and click Edit -> Paste.

    Works on all platforms, just change the Image Editor. You could also paste in to Word / OpenOffice.

  3. press "print screen".

    from there, you can just open up a word document, or even the microsoft powerpoint and press "Ctl + V"...the picture will appear there... then to save it as a jpeg, right click the picture that appears in the microsoft powerpoint, and choose "Save as.." from there, you can save it in different formats like .jpg, .png and so on..

  4. Press the "PrtScn/SysRq" button (usually it will be between the F12 key and scroll lock key) on your keyboard.  Open MS Paint - Click on Edit menu > click Paste (or use Ctrl + V).
