How do you save work from microsoft word to a memory stick?

I want to save work from microsoft word to my memory stick so that i can work on the file else where. how do i do this?

  1. File - Save as - My computer - removable devices


  2. Just do a regular "Save AS", but before you save the file choose your memory stick from the "Save in" drop down box.  It's just like saving any other file.  Or you can save the file to your Desktop or any other folder and then just copy and paste it onto your thumb drive.  

  3. 1. Insert the pen drive in the USB port. (If you use XP or later it will recognize it automatically)

    2. Copy the data.

    3. Go to My Computer and open the pen drive.

    4. Paste the data.

    5. Disconnect the USB memory stick from the computer.

    That's it!!!
