How do you save your Video on iMovie HD for Mac?

You can output the video to a mov file following the steps.

Edit video with imovie HD -> Click file menu to output -> select quicktime section and save the video -> upload it to Youtube or online sites.

Which version of iMovie does your Mac have? The latest, iMovie 7, can directly upload to Youtube. With earlier versions one will need to convert them to Quicktime files before uploading.

you need to export the video to a quicktime file. Go to "share" or export, choose quicktime, there are presets already made for you like, for CD-rom, or DVD, or even ipod and youtube.
