Ooh this is a good one.  And I'll assume you mean Standard Dialect/Mandarin Chinese.

In pinyin it's spelled "jiā".

It's pronounced like "yeah" except with a J in front of it.

It's First Tone, so you have to say it as if you were singing a note in a song.

(if you want to go into further detail, the "j" is pronounced in the molars, farther away from the front of the mouth, unlike English)
