  2. Ooh this is a good one.  And I'll assume you mean Standard Dialect/Mandarin Chinese.

    In pinyin it's spelled "jiā".

    It's pronounced like "yeah" except with a J in front of it.

    It's First Tone, so you have to say it as if you were singing a note in a song.

    (if you want to go into further detail, the "j" is pronounced in the molars, farther away from the front of the mouth, unlike English)

  6. you need to be more specific. There are many dialects within the chinese language.

  9. there is no such sound in English so even if i write

    家 = jia1

    it won't help you much, sounds can't be explained,

    they should be heard
