How do you say 'I want to believe' in latin?

I've used a translator and it doesn't translate correctly.

  1. I would use "Volo credere.".

    Other options are correct' such as "Desidero credere." or "Opto credere."; but I would use "Volo credere."  It is concise, accurate and sounds good to my ear.

    There also are other words in Latin for "to believe"; but "credere" is probably the most universally used.

    Probably "Credere volo" would be a bit more idiomatic. Latin word order is different from English, the main verb usually goes at the end.
