         { Cariad is the strongest word for "love".  If it is full-blown

           head-over-heels it is "cariad".  If it is charitable, it is

           "cariad".  If it is Biblical ("agape") it is "cariad".

         { Caru is like so much as to love.  It would be an

           exaggeration if I said that I "caru" coffee. }

         { Hoffi is like prefer.  I could "hoffi" coffee (but I don't). }

         { Serchu is love when you have an affection for someone. }

    I got this from an English-Welsh dictionary
