Question:

How do you say 'Ride sharing' or car pool in Italian? Does anyone try that in Italy?

I am not pretty sure whether the Italian does the 'covoiture' (French), or 'mitfahren'(German). As my italian is pretty poor, I really have difficulties in understanding their lifestyle..

    Car sharing and car pool. In Itay we use the english expressions.

  3. In Italian we call it "auto condivisa" (but also "car sharing" is a known name) and I've heard of somebody being satisfied of having experienced it in a few large towns as Rome, Milan, Florence, Genova, Bologna, etc. -

    Personally I know how it works but I've never tried this.
