  1. The language is not even remotely close heh.

Goodbye in Swedish, most commonly 'Hej dÃ¥', pronounced 'hey daw'.   Sometimes, especially on the phone, just 'Hej', which is also hello.

You'll also hear Adjö (adieu), 'Vi ses' (you can guess how to pronounce that) which is 'see you', 'Vi hörs' (vee hirsh) if you're on the phone, which is 'hear from you later, and probably a few dozen other things, but hej då is the most normal.

  2. don't know, sorry. I am from Switzerland. Thousand of kilometer away.

  3. Switzerland's languages are Alemannic (some call it, uncorrectly, Swiss German), French and Rhaeto-Romansch, they have nothing to do with Swedish. Although, with good will, the Alemannic speaking ones can at least understand some of the written Swedish language. Mind you, we're at least 1'500 kms apart!
