  1. "qu'est ce que c'est"

    or   "c'est quoi" (more commun)

    or   "qu'es-ce donc?"

  2. Depending on what your question is asking...

If you want to ask what something such as an item someone is holding you would say:

    Qu'est-ce que c'est? (Keska-say)

If you want someone to tell you the french word for something you would say:

Comment dit on [WORD IN QUESTION] en francais?

    (Ko-mo-dee-tone-[word]-on-frahn-say)

For example if you want to know how to ask how to say apple:

Comment dit on apple en francais?

    On dit "pomme"

  3. Caroline is right... and that's how you spell it, as well.

But to say it, you say it like this.... "Keska-say?"

    Hope that helps

  4. qu'est-ce que c'est?

  5. Do you mean, how do you say that in French? In that case, it would be, "Comment  dit-on en francais?" Phonetically, "Commahn deet-ohn an frehnsai?"
