  1. ¿qué pasa? does mean "What happens?" or "What is happening?" but it ALSO means "What's up?"

You could also say ¿qué hay?

  2. Hi, if you're using it in a salutation form, just say

    "que onda?"

    "que ubo?"

you can also use "que pasa" but use a tone of voice that is not too interrogatory.

    Hope that helps. Ü

  3. Que Tal

    Que Onda

    Que Pasa

my spanish teacher taught me que tal but my friend also know other two ways

and tal not is like tale or tal its more like ah. tahl

  4. que tal?

sorry i dont know how to make the upside down question mark or accent marks

  5. Whoever told you that doesn't speak Spanish obviously.

  6. che onda is how you say whats up it literally means   (how- wave)

  7. It could be ¿qué pasa? however it's true that it is more likely to be understand as "what happens?" (Notice that it isn't to different from What's up?) however I would use ¿Qué hay? (It's not used in all countries, however almost everyone will understand what you wanted to say.

  8. "Que pasa" means "whats up" in spanish

  9. Que onda?

    In Mexico

  10. literally ¿Qué pasa? means What happens? but in colloquial Spanish that phrase is used as an informal greeting, similar to English "What´s up".

Although "¿qué tal?" is another informal greeting, I think is not equivalent to What´s up. Que tal is used for young and older people, even when you are introduced to someone in your work place. It´s more like How it is going? or How you doing?

For me ¿que pasa? is very informal, almost vulgar, because looks like a very rude question.

  11. What's up in spanish is "que arriba"

i agree..whoever told you that obvioulsy doesnt know any spanish.

    Hope that helped!! :]

  12. ok, full blooded spanish talking dude coming tru.  :p

Que pasa? does mean whats up.  It is used as "slang". just as when you tell someone "what's up?"....you dont really mean what is up, above you.

so in spanish, yes, "que pasa?", means "what happens", or if you want to go more literal, then, "what is happening?".

So, summarizing, que pasa is slang, and yes it does mean whats up. or you can also say "que onda" "que transas" ......etc etc etc.......

  13. I've learned Que Tal, but I heard also Que Pasa

  14. it is que pasa , someone told u wrong. also you can say " que tal"  . "que te pasa"  is what is happening with you (what is wrong with you).   "que onda' is another way but that is mexican spanish and most mexicans say "que pasó" the past tense of whats up.

  15. well, que pasa is ok, but we dont use it like that so much,

in spanish for whats up, we use 'que onda'

    i hope i helped :D

  16. You can say it in so many different ways depending of what kind of people you are for example.

if you ar with your friends hanging around and you found an other friend you could say hey! que onda?  or you can say que hubo wuey? (wuey it's like buddy, bro, depends)

los nacos say (que movimiento?) que Honduras? como andamos?
