I want to ask the tobacco salesman what type of clove cigarret he has, can you write it down in italian for me to ask?

  1. Clove cigarettes would be "sigarette ai chiodi di garofano" in Italian.

    I'm not sure how easy it will be to find them; it doesn't sound like standard tobacconist fare here (but then, I'm not a smoker; if I remember, I'll check at our local bar/tobacconist's tomorrow). I found an Italian eBay seller offering them:

    P.S. Don't trust automatic translation sites like the one recommended by another answerer. For instance, it translates "clove cigarette" as "sigaretta di spicchio", which makes no sense at all, since "spicchio" means a segment, section, or slice: "clove" as in a "clove" of garlic, not the name of the spice.
