How do you say my friend in japanese?

as in like "you are right, my friend" but with out the you are right. in both masculine and feminine forms please.

  1. I don't think that term in that usage is commonly used in Japan. Although sometimes, actually very few times, I hear the word "amigo". It was popularized by the song サンバ de アミーゴ (Samba Amigo) in a Japanese game (Sega Dreamcast) TV commercial. However, this word "amigo" is usually used as name of clubs, theatres, groups, restaurants, etc. but not like the usage in your example.

  4. there's no real equivalent in japanese.

    we just say her/his name, nick name or something.

    =soudayonee.

  5. tomodachi means friends, so, for "my" girl and guy is different.



    i think guy is "ore" girl is "watashi"

    put it infront of tomodachi i think that would be right :)
