How do you say "Hi" or "Hello" in Vietnam?

  1. i usually just say hi

    but its pronounce /chao/ and it is spell chao


  2. I would just say Hi or Hello.  Now, If I wanted to say the same thing in Vietnamese, I would use an English to Vietnamese dictionary, and litfu.

  7. Chao, sound like Ciao in Italian, but it's with a CH.
