What would spanish people say when they're so relieved that the olympics are FINALLY over?

For example, how would you say "Thank god! The Olympics are over! Now I can watch my favorite programs on TV!" in spanish?

  1. ¡Gracias Dios, las Olimpiadas ya terminaron y puedo volver a ver mis programas favoritos de televisión!

Note: You can say: "¡GRACIAS DIOS!" It is like to thank Him directly to God, that is, you're talking to God.

¡Gracias A Dios! -literal translation in English- Thanks to God!

  2. Gracias a Dios las Olimpiadas se acabaron! Ahora puedo ver mis programas de televisión favoritos.

No Imperio it´s not a literal translation. We use Thank God - Gracias a Dios all the time. Remember that we are catholics because of spain when they discover this continent.

  3. I'm full Mexican, if you want "Thank God" on there it would be...

"Gracias a Dios por fin se acabaron las Olimpiadas! Ahora ya puedo ver mis programas favoritos!"

Which means, Thank God the Olympics are over! Now I can watch my favorite shows!

And without the Thank God it would just be

"Por fin ya se acabaron las Olimpiadas! Ahora ya puedo ver mis programas favoritos!"
