I say a few things to get the jist of this when in message conversation.

Un momento ~ one moment, I say then literally to mean one moment.

Volveré~ I'll return.  This means I'll be gone for more than a few minutes.

Regresaré I'll come back. I rarely say this, but it's something like I'll be back in a couple minutes...
