How do you say "flash card" and "flash cards" in Italian OR German?

I'm talking about the cards a student might use to study from, with a word on one side and a definition on the other.

    The single word translation is: Carta-Veloce

    Italian : "flash card" - "flash cards"

    the actual translation would be "Vokabellernkarte" but nobody really uses this word.

    We call them "Karteikarte" (index card) or "Vokabelliste" (vocabulary list)
