It makes more sense if you say "yên giấc nghìn thu".  Yên nghỉ is just meant rest.

Both PunkElvis and April are correct but given the fact that Vietnamese is a wordy language, I like April's answer better.  Yes, yên giấc ngàn thu.

litteral translation is a bit difficult but "nghi binh an" or "nghi binh yen" would mean "rest quietly/safely"....but on MANY MANY viet tombstones are the letters "R.I.P."..... some know very well what that means, although they will say "REPOSE in peace".....
