  1. It makes more sense if you say "yên giấc nghìn thu".  Yên nghỉ is just meant rest.


  2. Vietnam has lots of beautiful places such as Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, it's beautiful and peaceful!

  3. Both PunkElvis and April are correct but given the fact that Vietnamese is a wordy language, I like April's answer better.  Yes, yên giấc ngàn thu.

  4. litteral translation is a bit difficult but "nghi binh an" or "nghi binh yen" would mean "rest quietly/safely"....but on MANY MANY viet tombstones are the letters "R.I.P."..... some know very well what that means, although they will say "REPOSE in peace".....
