  1. thats not good

    =yoku arimasen ne

    =dame desu ne

  2. yokunai desu ne - よくないですね。

this is the negative version of ii desu. so it basically means thats not very good.

  3. I believe the answer you are looking for is

    yokunai desu (is not good)

If you are talking about asking whether you can or can not do something:

    dame desu! (not allowed)

If you are learning Japanese in Australia, then this is what you are taught. You get taught that phrase in school.

    Example:

Mado o akete mo ii desu ka (may i open the window)

iie, dame desu (no, that's not allowed)

    OR

ii desu (that's good/ lit. you may)

So yokunai desu, that's not good.

Not sure though. Not sure if it is the one you have been taught!

    Beau

  4. -Yokunai desu. Yokunai desu ne.

    Or if it's worse,

-( Sore wa ) Dame desu. Dame desu ne.

If it's "that's not correct" as it may be used in language class,

    -(Sore wa ) Chigai masu.

  5. sugoi means very good or good
