  1. to a stranger you would say JE VOUS EN PRIE while to a friend or closed person you would say DE RIEN

  2. Je vous en prie/pas de quoi...

  3. "Bienvenue" is Québec-french, not France-french

  4. Je vous en prie

    Je t'en prie

depends whether you say vous or him to that person

de rien is ok but not so polite

  5. De rien..... -- pronounced De ree-eh(the "eh" is pretty nasally, almost like you're saying, "eh" in "eh, whatever)

Il n'y a pas de quoi.... or (Pas de quoi) -- pronounced... Pah'd kwah

Bienvenue.... -- pronounced Byeh-v'new  ("eh" as above)

  6. For "Merci beaucoup" the polite answer is: "Je vous en prie", or "Ce n'est rien"

You're welcome: Bienvenue, or "Soyez les bienvenus",  when somebody comes in your home .

  7. "De rien"

  8. de rien ..... usually works.... means ' it's nothing'
