How do you say ramadan in lots of different ways?

i am making a powerpoint presentation and i am writing ramadan in different languages

and i only know turkish, arabic and english

so please anyone help me

  1. well i cannot give you the written word but the sounds i have heard are:

    Ramadan >>> in the english accent

    Raw-ma-dawn >>> arabic (d = a heavy sound no existant in english)

    Romzun/rumzun/rom-jun >>> some parsi & majority of south asians

  5. Hmm we say in Dutch "Ramadan" or "De islamitische vastenmaand" (in English: The islamic month of the fast)

  6. in pakistan india kashmir (that region basically)

    we say ramzaan or ramazan

    because south asian muslims tend to replace the arabic dh with a z

    we call fasts rooza and collectively can be called roozeh with meants fasts

    roozeh can also be a replacement for ramadan

    It's a  Cape Malay word...used for many decades.

    But i say Ramadan.
