  1. In Latin America, we use the Metric System, therefore if you tell someone "I'm 5'8" tall" you'd say "mi estatura es cinco pies con ocho pulgadas" but you're going to leave them wondering (if they don't know how to convert between these two systems.)

    So, this is how you should tell a Spanish-speaking person what your height is in a way that they would understand: "Mido 1.72" or "Mido uno setenta y dos" which is 1 meter and 0.72 centimeters.
