...is almost right - indeed, in some situations people would use those for each sentence you've asked about.

要 can mean both 'want' and 'am going to' but people generally use 想 (xiang - closest in translation to 'would like to') to more clearly express 'want to'.  Also, I don't recognise the character 乘, and would normally use 坐飞机 (zuo feiji) for taking a plane - the same 坐 Julia Z used in 坐火车 (zuo huoche) for taking a train.
