"i am pleased to meet you" in japanese? i know it starts out with like "hajime..."but thats all i remember. also, how do you say "its a pleasure meeting you? i think it starts with hoozo or something like that

    Dozo, yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

    It's not a direct translation, but it's the equivalent.  Basically every single time you meet someone for the first time in Japan you will say "Hajimemashite", and often you will add the "dozo, yoroshiku onegai shimasu."

    If you want to get fancy and super-formal you could say "onegai itashimasu" instead of "onegai shimasu".
