    ALSO NOTE:  English must have a capital "E" at the beginning in all cases.  Some languages do not require a capital letter for the names of languages or nationalitis, but English does.

    I do NOT agree with the answer that says you can also say:

    "They speak english fluently.   They are fluent in speaking english."

    Many people who can speak English fluently are NOT Native English speakers.  A native Engish speaker is a person whose FIRST language is English.  

    For example, I speak Spanish fluently, and my home language is Spanish, but my FIRST language was English, so I cannot be a "native Spanish speaker."  I am a native English speaker.
