How do you say this word in Punjabi?

How do you say "grade" or "mark" in Punjabi (such as what a teacher gives to a student on a test... i.e. "a grade of A or B")? Is it ਅੰਕ ?

What about "gradebook"?

ਅੰਕ (pronounced as 'unk' , where the sound of u is as in the u in 'but' or 'bubble') is indeed the Punjabi word for 'mark/marks' but it has to be a 'number of marks' or 'percentage' . eg. 50% ਅੰਕ which means 50 percentage of marks or for eg. 10/15 ਅੰਕ (marks)

Note: This ਅੰਕ can also be used in a variety of other contexts denoting numbers and not just for marks for a test.

But ਅੰਕ can't be used for letter I think. So you can't use it for a grade A,B,C etc. You also can't use the words provided by english to punjabi dictionaries because for grade the word 'darja' provided by the dict. as written by the other answer means a grade of 'status' , a social status and not an educational grade.

So for grade A,B ,C etc. the same english word 'grade' is used and its written in Punjabi as : ਗ੍ਰੇਡ

Eg, to write "Grade B" it would be:  B ਗ੍ਰੇਡ or ਬੀ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ (using the punjabi form for B)

Note: This " ਗ੍ਰੇਡ " can also be used to give grades to a movie , etc.

And, gradebook could be ਅੰਕ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ (Literally: Book of marks) or ਅੰਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ (Lit: Marks-book) or ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ (Lit: Book of grades) or ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਕਿਤਾਬ (Lit: Gradebook)
