  4. When in France, eat what the French eat! Why on earth would you travel and not sample another culture's foods!

Of course, the French don't really eat breakfast the way Americans do. So, for your petit dejeuner, or little lunch, may I suggest:

Coffee is the big thing and many French begin with a big, bowl-sized cup of café au lait which is eaten with brioche, a croissant or a plain piece of toast with butter and jelly.

Of course you can have the, tea, if you prefer.

Some times, jus (juice) and fruit (spelled the same in French and English) are served.

    Bon appetit.

  5. Je voudrais le pain grille francais.

    lol i speak it fluently

  6. frenche  de toest le done

  7. Considering that it's not really French in origin you might have a hard time.

There's some conflicting stories of where it came from but the best would have it's origins in NY and the guy that created it was named "French". So therefore they named it "French toast" after the creator.

Other stories say that the cajuns in Louisiana would make "pain perdu" in the same manner and as they spoke French, it was called "French toast" by the tourists.

We always called it "pain dore" which may be a French Canadianism but it may also be a name that the French would understand.

  8. Well thats the greatest question ever you say you want french toast, Thats as simple as a pimple. Ca plane pour Moi!

  9. g*y toast!
