How do you scan with a hp C2400 series?

Question

I uninstall, then install, then uninstall and install again but it doesn't work.

When i try scanning a document i have to open up hp photo smart essentials.

but then it goes 'we have encountered a problem'

it worked on the other computer but why not now? please help.

you can try the following to scan a document/picture...

click start, click printers and faxes, click scanners and cameras, double click image scanner device name (scanner and camera wizard pops up) follow instructions from there.
