  1. First off, it depends on how many people are in your league.....lets just say 10 to make it easy

second off, it depends on which catagories you have...Lets just say a typical 5X5 public league with R,HR,RBI,SB,AVG for offense and W,SV,K,ERA,WHIP for pitching

out of the 10 teams who ever has the most cumulative Runs throughout the season will get 10 points....who ever has the 2nd most runs will get 9 points....3rd 8 points....worst will get 1 point......

then you do that for HR.....out of the 10 teams who ever has the most cumulative Home Runs throughout the season will get 10 points....who ever has the 2nd most runs will get 9 points....3rd 8 points....worst will get 1 point

you do that for all 10 catagories that are shown here.....

    say you have

    200 R

    100HR

    200RBI

    70SB

    .280AVG

    30 Wins

    60 SVs

    370K

    3.08 ERA

    1.19 WHIP

    and your opponents have

    Runs-160,170,190,218,229,260,270,169,1...

since you have 200 R......you would get 6 points (out of 10 since you are the 6th best)

    HR-30,60,80,90,101,104,109,110,121

since you have 100 HR (you would get 5 points (out of 10))

    RBI- 201,202,203,204,205,206,207,209,217

since you have the least, you would get 1 point (out of 10)

    SB-13,19,20,46,53,60,61,62,63

since you have the most, you would get 10 points

AVG.....now ill explain if you are tied with someone

    .269,.270, .273, .275, .277, .280, .283, .291, .300

since you and the other person that had .280 are tied, you are tied for 6th and 7th.....you would avg the 7 points and 6 points and get 6.5

    pitching is the same way

    wins

    9, 16, 27, 31, 32, 36, 40, 57, 60

you would get 4 points since you are the 4th best

    saves

    16, 24, 30, 44, 50, 52, 56, 57, 61

you would get 9 points since you have the 9th most saves

    K

    200, 220, 240, 270, 300, 312, 345, 400, 412

you would get 8 points, since you have the8 most Ks

same thing for ERA and WHIP

we will just say you get 8 points for EAR and 3 for WHIP....you would calc them the same way as the other catagories

now to get a total score you add them up

    you had

    6+5+1+10+6.5+4+9+8+8+3=60.5 points

now if there is 12 teams you can get points from 1-12 (instead of the 10 i showed you)

or if there is 8 teams you can get points from 1-8 (instead of the 10 i showed you)

and the more catagories you have, the more you have to look at, and the more points you will get

    hope i helped

    good luck

  2. ugh i played it last year and i hated it. all the stats are cumulative and my team got off to a terrible start  and couldnt catch up. at least in head to head you can get hot and cold and it wont hurt too bad

  3. The same way you do in Head to Head.

  4. In a typical fantasy baseball league, there are at least 10 different stat categories:

    (Offense)

    Runs

    Home runs

    RBI

    Sb's

    AVG

    (Pitching)

    Wins

    Strikeouts

    Saves

    ERA

    WHIP

So depending on how many teams are in your league, lets say 12 (yahoo public league), you get 12 pts for each stat category that your winning.  You also have the potential to receive 1 point if your last in that particular stat category.  The team with the most points at the end wins!

Good Luck and let me know if you have anymore questions...
