How do you search online for cars to be used for parts?

I am rebuilding an old car and need a engine, transmission and drive shaft. About any V8 will work. I thought I could buy a car that is wrecked or rusted out and use parts off it. I haven't had any luck searching though. How can I find something?

The only place that I know of would be ebay motors. You could also do a search of yahoo groups in your area. THere are lots of groups to sell, buy, and trade things all over the country. Another way if you haven't tried allready is to call your local salvage/junk yards. I have found tons of parts at those places. Sometimes they will sell you the whole car or just the parts that you need. Hope this helps.
