India might as well be the next superpower to Asia if investment and the growth remains strong and transcends that of China.

India is blessed with a plethora of natural resources which it can use FURTHER to boost its economy to another level. It is ALREADY the Asian IT hub and due to its cheap labour and other friendly policies, the exports are rising at a considerable level.

Even though I'm from Pakistan, and the typical Indo-Pakistan rivalry stereotypes have marred the common pakistani's point of view, I would say that India might as well be the leader of Asia very soon!

Hmph. I see a lot of bloodshed-not from wars but from terrorism.No India can't be the next superpower yet-not for a long time. It has too much ground to cover.Education, Infrastructure,Corruption, Crime, Overpopulation-pretty dismal picture. Water , Power and Fuel shortages will have reached crisis proportions. Farmer and Student suicides are there too. We will still be pretty divided by caste, religion and region-example being the first answer here.

Apart from this, we will have progressed in the IT field-and will feel pretty grand about it.
