Dhoni needs a bit more experience, which he can acquire, and is infact already acquiring by acting as the skipper in the one day format of the game. He has proven himself as the captain in ODIs but still, it isn't enough.Once he is equipped with that experience, which is necessary for devicing strategic game plans, which are an important part of test cricket, the responsibility of leading the test squad can be safely handed over to him, and in the long run, he may turn out to be a successful captain.

Well, i think he was just a captain as if he was of a ODI. he did quite well, leading everyone and things. i think he did quite a good job. atleast we won.

Dhoni is not now available substitute for test captain. HE DESERVE FOR INDIAN TEAM CAPTAIN and he prooved this in T20 world cup. If we think like new substitue open the pages of history of any team.......if you want to make a captain YOU MUST HAVE TO TAKE RISK....but depends how much capable is candidate....many times all makes captains in all aspects of game with lack of proof...BUT HERE WE ARE HAVING LIVE PROOF then why we are thinking.....DHONI WILL BE BETTER CAPTAIN DEFINATELY.....
