If corporations still see the environment as the enemy and people continue to see it as someone else's problem, our energy use doesn't decrease, the rest of the world comes close to the US's energy use, deforestation continues at the current pace, and we keep letting species go extinct? Bleak.

America has a latin majority.  Our best and brightest are moving out of the country to avoid confiscatory taxes.  China takes back Taiwan and maybe the rest of the world. There is a muslim majority in France due to their birth rate.

I see recycling a part of normal practise. Almost nothing is thrown out. Alot less meat is eaten in the diet. Water becoming like gold - only to drink. We wash in sea water. Computers in every home, phones old hat. Heating and cooling on a need to use - need to generate our own. We are less aggressive but more career minded. We won't raise our own kids anymore, we are less social, marriage will have an expiry date. More of us will commit suicide.

Freezing winters , boiling hot summers, massive unemployment, massive amount of crime, and probably by then world war 3 or maybe 4., no cars on petrol..what petrol ! And finally I will be dead of old age so enjoy what time you have left in this cruel world we live in.
