  1. If you meant, how to plant parsley seed, then sow thinly  in a sterile soil mix and water well...cover with plastic wrap and keep in bright light, but not direct sunlight.  Check moisture occasionally.  Parsley seed is slow to germinate [maybe 2 wks. or so] so be patient.  You can plant each one individually or put 2or3 in a clump.  Parsley is biennial, so you should plant it every year to insure fresh plants each year.

  2. I just happened to have checked this book from my town's library today:  "Saving Seeds, the Gardener's Guide to Growing and Storing Vegetable and Flower seeds" by Marc Rogers, 1990 Storey Communications.

Parsley is a biennial plant and its seeds remain viable for only one or two years.

Cover the plant in the fall with heavy mulch so they can come back the next spring.  In the second year seeds will form in the fall and are ready for harvest when they turn brown.  These seeds will shatter easily, so collect the seeds by shaking the plant upside down in a paper bag.

Clean and process parsley seeds like carrot seeds.
