  1. Hey, right you cannot send money by mail, but probably you are talking about a 50 euro bill for a b-day or a present and sending a transfer would be expensive. I would hide it in a b-day card, no one is allowed to open the post, so buy a Hallmark card write somehting nice, and put the bill in it! put it in the envelope and ready. No one will open it. It would be very very bad luck if the mail does not get to its destiny.

  2. Never send money by mail to any country. NEVER

If the mail office see that you're sending money, the amount of money will be confiscated and you'll have to pay a fine.

Try to use Western Union, it's in every part of the world; You can send money to Germany by Wester Union.

The fee depends in the amount of money that you're sending.

For Example if you are sending $500 to Germany te fee will be the 18%: So $500 + 18% = $590

So the fee will be $40 it's costly but it's secure, easy and fast!

  3. You should never send actual currency in the mail. Its not likely to be in the envelope when and if the envelope arrives at its destination. You can send a check in US dollars and have the bank in Germany send it out for international collections, which would likely cost about $75. Or you can do a foreign exchange with your bank, you give your bank instructions to sell your US$, buy EUR and provide them with the bank account information of the recipient in Germany. You can always use PayPal as well, but I don't think it has cross-currency payment options yet.

  4. western union they are all over the place over there so you can just go to one here and send it to who ever, it will get there quicker and safer because you should not send money in the mail

  5. you go to your bank and have them send the money by computer. The computer will calculate the rate of exchange for you.Sometimes called an electronic transfer of funds.

  6. You need info from your bank so the person transfering money can send it through the bank to your account or vice versa. Call your local bank and ask them.
