How do you send SMS messeges to a mobile phone? Does it cost anything?

My boyfriend went to Nigeria for a job and I would like to know how to contact him on his mobile phone. I have his number,but I don't have a cell phone to call him and don't have long distance on my phone to call him. How do I contact him throught the SMS so he knows I am thinking of him?

Wow,  why don't you ask a friend to ude their cellphone and if your boy friend is thinking about you he should have sent you an sms already
