How do you send a package from the United States to Canada?

All kidding aside, go the Post Office and ask them. You have to buy international stamps I do believe and I think they have to weight it and determine a price from there.

Ok, I'm going to take a wild stab as how to do this:

PACK IT SECURELY (don't use 'MASKING TAPE' or "SCOTCH TAPE"), make sure the SEND TO address and RETURN addresses are legible. (Put the send to address INSIDE the package, too, in case something happens to damage the address on the outside).  Take the package to your closest post office.  They will give you the proper custom form to fill out, if required.  They will weigh the package and ask you pertinent HOMELAND SECURITY questions.  You give them the appropriate U.S. cash, or credit card info.  The clerk will affix the postage and VOILA!  The package is on its way to Nova Scotia (lovely place, by the way, been there, done that).

You can FED EX/UPS it, also.

Let's see: put it in a box or large envelope. Fasten it shut. Apply postage or take it to the post office to be weighed and then pay for postage. If you apply postage, make sure it is the right postage. Put it in the bin for packages or hand over the counter to mailperson if too big for the bin opening.  If you let post office weigh it, they will automatically take it from you and put it in the bin behind the counter. The rest is out of your hands unless you want to carry it there yourself. Then you need a passport. Be prepared for Canadian customs to ask you to open the package. You will also need gas money, unless you fly. Then you need a plane ticket.  No, you cannot mail yourself.  At least not with the knowledge of the post office. You can do this secretly with help from someone taping your box shut, but then you had better make sure the address is right or you will end up dying in the dead letter department for years and they will not open the package to get you out because it's against the law for them to do so.

You can go to the United States Post Office (Hint: There is one in every single town/city in America) Depending on how big it is, it could get costly. (Another Hint: The bigger it is, the more expensive it will cost to ship)
