  1. A good underhanded serve- place the ball in the plam of your hand in a position that is easy to hit. You should hit the ball, not with your hand but the area where your hand meets your wrist. The amount of force & the side of the ball you hit will determine where it goes. Don't just hit it- swing your arm back & forth like you're going to hit it a few times before actually hitting it.

A good overhand serve- make sure your tosses are good. A bad toss equals a bad serve. They should be directly in front of you. When you contact the ball, make sure you contact it above your head. Not to far back or it won't clear the net & not to far forward because you'll just slam it into the ground. Also, don't freeze your body. Follow through when hitting the ball. Wherever you freeze, that's where the ball will go. So don't freeze.. Also, you want to hit the ball with a striff & strong hand. Flimsy hands won't work. Don't hit the ball with your fingers or your wrist. You want to use the bottom of your hand, underneath your palm.

A good jump serve- make sure your toss isn't too high or too low. Also, timing is OBSCENELY important to do a jump serve. That's something you'll simply have to practice at, timing is something you'll have to teach yourself in time. You hit the ball in the same manner as in an overhand serve. Footwork is also important. A short running start before the jump gives an extra boost so you will get higher. Make sure you follow through- extra force may be needed to send the ball over. The ball will go in the direction you are turned while you're in the air. That's how you determine where to hit the ball.

Hope I was helpful! If you have any other questions, please let me know! =)

  2. ball contact, your toss and torque.

ball contact: you want to contact the ball in front of you and contact the ball at the top. and keep a strong hand.

toss: it's technically not a toss or throw, contrary to what most people say. it's placement. you want to place the ball where your arm is fully extended, you don't want to throw it too high or too low.

torque: torque is so important in hitting and serving. your core gives you so much power. you want to stand parallel to the court so you can twist your abdomens to get the maximum core power.

  3. Throw it over that @#$#$ net.

  4. toss the ball nice & high & keep your hand firm, if this doesn't work take private lessons

  5. Choices

1)use the base of your plam up at an angle (back of the hand down ) trust over the net

    2) bump

  6. You have to have a nice toss first of all. Then when you hit the ball you dont want to hit it when the ball is right in front of your face because it wont go far, you have to hit it when arm is fully extended. and take a step with it. timing is key and learning how to distribute your power.
