  1. Use the controls on your remote or TV to set the colours as told in the other answers.

If you are looking for the correct settings, try using discs like Avia II or Digital Video Essentials. They are good for setting up the colours.

You can find information on internet about various movie scenes that can also be used for setting the correct colour, contrast and brightness settings.

Simplest but not very useful method is to use THX optimizer usually found on THX certified discs. However this is not good for colour settings but can be used.

If you don't want to use any of the above methods, try setting your brightness (with the contrast in midway and colours at 25%) so that details are visible in dark areas in movies like Mummy, When a Stranger calls etc... Then set the contrast where you can make out the various shades of white e.g- in Thomas Crown Affair or Under the Tuscan Sun. When you have set these two , go for the colours and set them to a place where the faces look natural in various discs, the colours don't bleed into the surroundings and the pictures are not too washed out.

  2. Press the meuu button.

Highlight the Video icon using the up/down arrow keys and press the enter key

Highlight the Color bar, and press the enter key or the right arrow key....

Adjust it with the left or right arrow key and set it close to halfway for the best color....

  3. Try the menu key
